I once had a loved one in a tricky spot (to say the least) at the ICU. Really touch and go. Happily they didn't go. One of the most shocking things I remember from that period was that there was no special doctor prescribed way to bring down a high temperature. It was literally acetaminophen and an electronic cooling pad. This loved one had tubes going in and out of every part of their body; basically keeping them alive with mind-boggling amounts of science and technology, but nothing to bring down the fever. This song is a lighthearted way of looking at that topic.
